Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 16 September 2026
We want KinTask to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Our commitment and standard
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
- Accessibility is considered as part of every change we make, not as an afterthought.
What we have done
- Full keyboard operation of navigation, dialogs, menus and task controls, with visible focus outlines.
- Semantic headings, labelled form fields, and accessible names on icon-only buttons.
- Light and dark themes designed for strong text contrast, and a layout that reflows down to small phone screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Complete Hebrew right-to-left support alongside English, including correctly mirrored layout and controls.
- Meaning is never carried by colour alone: priority is also stated in words.
Known limitations
- Drag-and-drop on the household board is the fastest way to move a task between time frames. Every one of those changes can also be made by editing the task's date, which works with keyboard and screen readers.
- Some wording in the calendar entries created by KinTask comes from Google Calendar and follows Google's own accessibility behaviour.
Assistive technology compatibility
- KinTask is built and tested against current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, and is intended to work with common screen readers on desktop and mobile, including NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
Review and audits
- We review accessibility at least once a year and after any significant redesign, using a mix of automated checks and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.
Feedback and contact
- If you meet a barrier, or need information from KinTask in another format, write to support@kintask.app and describe the page and what happened. We aim to reply within a few working days.
