By using KinTask you agree to these terms. Please read them before you sign in.

The service

  • KinTask helps you and the people you live with plan, share and complete household and personal tasks, and can mirror deadlines to your Google Calendar.
  • Features may change, improve or be withdrawn as the product develops.

Your account

  • You need a Google account to sign in. Keep your access to that account secure — activity carried out through your sign-in is treated as yours.
  • You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use KinTask for unlawful, abusive, harassing or misleading content.
  • Do not attempt to access other people's data, disrupt the service, scrape it at scale or bypass security controls.
  • Do not share invite codes with people you do not want to see your household's shared chores.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of the tasks and notes you create. You grant us only the permission needed to store, display and sync that content so the service works for you and the household members you share it with.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for what you choose to share.

Third-party services

  • Google sign-in and Google Calendar are provided by Google under their own terms. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control.

Availability and no warranty

  • The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and calendar syncing depends on services we do not run.
  • Keep your own record of anything critical.

Limitation of liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or missed tasks, deadlines or appointments arising from use of the service.

Ending your use

  • You can stop using KinTask and delete your account at any time from the account page.
  • We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where required by law.

Changes and contact

  • We will post updated terms on this page with a new date. Continuing to use KinTask means you accept the update.
